PHOTO: Spoken Word Tula-tulaan A very late post... but it's better late than never, right? Anyway, Marife invited me to this event. It was nice when someone asked you to come even though I only met her once at St. Scholastica. I agree to attend because I realized that it was two years since the last poetry reading event that I attended. It was 5:30 PM when I went to Cubao Expo (aka Cubao X). I went early because I waited for my friend, Jessica. Unfortunately, she didn't come because of her new job. So, I was on my own for more than two hours. Before the event starts, I looked around and saw some of the books from Hemingway Bookshop. I was not supposed to buy anything, but I got tempted. I bought two books: one is Sigmund Freud's Beyond the Pleasure Principle, and the other is The New Feminist. Ozine Fest Anime Figure Special 2014 (PART 1 of 2)

Last month, my brother and I went to SM Megamall for Ozine Fest Anime Figure Special 2014. I already heard this event few months ago, but I had no plans to go there back then. A few days later, my brother asked me to go. At that time, I had no idea on what Christmas-slash-Birthday gift am I going to buy for him. So, I agree. It was almost 9:15 AM when we arrived at the back entrance of the mall. I noticed that a lot of people were also waiting for the entrance door to open. Some of them were regular shoppers, others were looking forward to the event (obvious to their anime-inspired outfits). After 50 minutes, we went inside.
